The PET/PA/RCPP, PET/AL/PA/RCPP Transparent Composite Retort Pouch Film is a high-performance packaging material specifically designed for high-temperature cooking and sterilization applications. Featuring a multi-layer composite structure, it excels in heat resistance, barrier properties, and mechanical stability, making it ideal for use in food packaging, as well as the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
The structure consists of an outer layer of polyester (PET) or nylon (PA) for excellent mechanical strength, a middle layer of aluminum foil to effectively block light, oxygen, and moisture, and an inner layer of heat-resistant polypropylene (RCPP) to ensure strong seals and food safety. For high-performance applications, some variants include four or five layers to further enhance the product's properties.
This retort pouch film can withstand temperatures ranging from 121°C to 135°C (e.g., 121°C for 40 minutes), maintaining a complete seal and meeting the demands of high-temperature sterilization. The aluminum foil layer provides strong barrier properties that effectively delay food oxidation and spoilage, ensuring an extended shelf life. Its puncture resistance is particularly suitable for packaging meat products with bones or sharp edges.
The PET/PA/RCPP, PET/AL/PA/RCPP film also boasts excellent physical stability with a break strength of over 40N, a peel strength greater than 4.5N/15mm, and a heat seal strength of more than 35N/15mm, ensuring that the packaging remains intact during transportation, storage, and cooking. These characteristics make it an ideal choice for packaging high-temperature sterilized food such as meat products, cooked food, and pickled items, as well as for packaging medical devices for high-temperature sterilization and chemical agents requiring moisture and oxidation protection.
