Three-side seal zipper pouches combine the production simplicity of a flat three-side seal format with an integrated resealable zipper closure, providing a convenient and cost-effective resealable packaging solution for portioned food, snack, pet treat, and consumer goods products. Laminate structures are specified based on the barrier level and application — transparent constructions are available for fresh and refrigerated products where consumer product visibility is commercially important, while high-barrier structures are used for ambient-stable products requiring maximum shelf-life performance.

The zipper track is inserted and heat-sealed into the pouch below the top edge during manufacturing, creating a resealable access point that preserves product freshness and prevents accidental spillage after the initial opening. The top edge above the zipper functions as the fill opening and is sealed after filling on standard pre-made pouch fill-and-seal equipment.

Tear notch placement, zipper profile, and pouch dimensions are specified to match the customer's filling equipment and consumer use requirements. Print up to ten colors and optional matte or gloss surface finishes are available.
