PP mono-material packaging is an all-polypropylene flexible packaging structure designed to be compatible with polypropylene mechanical recycling streams, enabling brands to package dry food, snack, and consumer goods products in a format that can be directed into established PP recycling infrastructure at end of life. The construction integrates a vacuum-metallized barrier layer within an all-PP laminate — the specific structure is specified based on the customer's barrier targets, converting equipment, and recyclability certification requirements.

The outer layer provides the stiffness, dimensional stability, and surface energy required for high-quality printing on standard ink systems optimized for polypropylene substrates. The barrier layer contributes the oxygen and water vapor transmission resistance needed for dry food and snack products with ambient shelf-life requirements.

The inner heat-seal layer — selected for compatibility within the polyolefin recycling stream — provides the seal performance needed for reliable closure on standard FFS and pre-made pouch filling equipment. All layers are bonded using adhesive systems compatible with the overall recyclability profile of the structure.
