Three-side seal flat pouches provide a simple, versatile, and cost-effective packaging format produced by sealing flexible laminate on two sides and the bottom, with the top left open for filling on standard pouch-filling or FFS equipment. Laminate constructions are recommended based on the product type and barrier requirement — options range from economical plastic-to-plastic films for short-shelf-life dry goods to high-barrier foil laminates for products requiring maximum protection against oxygen, moisture, and light.

The flat, two-panel construction maximizes printable surface area relative to material use and provides efficient stacking and display in retail environments. Three-side seal pouches are compatible with both pre-made pouch filling lines and can be produced inline on form-fill-seal equipment, giving customers flexibility in their filling operation configuration.

Tear notches, hanging holes, and custom dimensions are standard options. All structures are available with surface printing up to ten colors and in custom seal widths matched to the customer's filling equipment.
